LG KG208 Chocolate Bar Phone New |

We have grown accustomed to expect phones with a certain type of design from every mobile phone manufacturer, and the vast majority of phones released lately have come with a design that highly resembles the one used in previously released phones.
For example, Motorola will insist on only showing us RAZR-like phones, and no matter if the phones come with a clamshell, slider or candybar form factor, they end up looking pretty much the same.
The reason for this is that it's pretty hard for such a phone not to be successful if the previously released phone sporting the same type of design was popular.
Another manufacturer adopting this theory is LG, who is currently presenting a new type of Chocolate phone, the KG208. Basically, the phone looks like a KG800 with its sliding keyboard out, and features a 256k color TFT screen with a 128 x 160 pixel resolution, a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth for connectivity and a MicroSD memory card slot for memory expansion. It supports MP3, WMA, AAC, AAC+, AAC++ files and comes with 64MB internal memory, which along with a memory card should be enough for the storage purposes.
It also provides an alternative for the people who like the KG800's looks but are not exactly fond of slider phones.
The KG208 measures 106.5 x 45.4 x 14.8 mm, weighs 86 grams (almost the same as the KG800, which weighs 83 grams) and will last for up to 180 minutes of talk time.
It is expected to be available in China pretty soon, but there is no information regarding the price for the moment. |
