Forum Nokia had a big presence at the 2006 JavaOne conference, held last week in San Francisco’s Moscone Center. Nokia was a Gold Sponsor of the conference and had speakers at 10 sessions. The company’s exhibit booth featured the S60 platform and the Series 40 platform, Carbide.j, SNAP Mobile, Enterprise Java™, and Intellisync wireless e-mail. Nokia’s objective was to leverage the advantages of its installed-base and technological leadership to build momentum for the S60 3rd Edition and enterprise developer mindshare. Forum Nokia representatives were on hand to create lucrative business opportunities for mobile developers globally.
